The Magnet

One magnet, fifty cents, delivered instantly over HTTPS. A paid call to /buy returns "you bought a magnet!" and this exact magnet: 🧲.

🧲 digital instant delivery $0.50

The Magnet is a digital magnet. When you buy it, our API replies with the message "you bought a magnet!" and one magnet emoji (🧲) in a JSON body. That is the entire product. We want to be completely clear about that before you spend your fifty cents.

Buying is one HTTP call. POST (or GET) https://api.reallybigmagnet.com/buy: an unpaid call returns a 402 payment challenge, you settle it with x402 (Base USDC), MPP, or a card, retry with proof attached, and the magnet is yours. No account, no API key, no checkout form.

There is no shipping, because there is nothing to ship. There is no inventory limit, because it is an emoji. Each purchase is a real $0.50 charge and a real magnet. Buy one, or buy several — they are fifty cents each.

🧲 The 🧲 glyph renders differently across platforms. The magnet is equally yours on all of them.

How buying works

One endpoint. Fifty cents. One magnet.

The store is an API. No account, no API key, no checkout form — payment happens in the request flow.

# 1. Ask to buy — the first, unpaid call returns a 402 payment challenge
curl -X POST https://api.reallybigmagnet.com/buy

# 2. Settle the challenge: $0.50 via x402 (Base USDC), MPP, or card

# 3. Retry with the payment proof attached. The response is your magnet:
#    {"message":"you bought a magnet!","magnet":"🧲"}

Humans: the 402 payment challenge includes a hosted card checkout option if you would rather pay in a browser. Full API details: openapi.json.
